I want to

I want to be able to put a smile on someone’s face with absolutely every thing I do. From what I wear in the morning, to what I do, to the tone of my voice. I just want to make everyone smile!

I’m contimplating starting up a webstore and donating a percentage of profits to @skate4cancer and other charities. I’m just wondering if anyone would actually be interested in getting anything? And what people would like to see available?

New Years goals!

So I’ve been thinking about New Years resolutions/goals and such, and I’m thinking for 2011 I’m going to make it my goal to try to donate to at least 12 charitable organizations ( the equivalent of one per month), if I can afford to do more than that I will. I’d like to one day be able to do something like http://livingphilanthropic.tumblr.com/ and donate to a charity for every day of the year.

I will probably be posting a little bit about each charity as the year goes, if anyone has any charities they support or think are really good causes could you please send them my way for consideration. I’d love to hear about them!

Also I’d really like to do some collaboration with other youth movements in 2011, I’m hoping I can do something with Music For Peace (http://musicforpeace.webs.com/) since she’s local to my area and does some really great stuff.

I can’t wait for 2011, it brings with it so many possibilities for good!

What kind of changes would you guys like to make in 2011?

I think tonight

I might start trying to write my book, or at least start putting some ideas down on paper. In a perfect world I could do this project for the rest of my life, and be Cue all the time because it’s my passion. So I’m going to write about where this project came from, and the person I was before it and how it helped me and all the things I want it to grow into in the future.

I’m honestly counting down the hours till I get off work tonight so I can get started.

Anyone have any opinions on this?

In a perfect world I could spend the rest of my life as “Cue” and nothing else. If I could find a way to make this project into a career that I could live off of that would be absolutely astounding. This is the work I do when I procrastinate, this is the work I do as often as possible on any given day. Cue Happiness brings me happiness along with others and in a perfect world I would be able to spend everyday of my adult life continuing to do that. I would love to find some other non-profit groups to collaborate with so that I could make my project grow even bigger and have a greater effect on the lives of others.

“Find inspiration in everything”

Throughout this project I’ve found that this quote becomes truer every single day. I see the world as a far more beautiful place now than I ever used to. I find beauty in every person I see whether it be something physical, or their laugh, even the smallest of things about them. I find inspiration in every sound whether it be that song that I love and have one constant replay or the sound of a baby’s laugh or even just the sound of someone’s footsteps. I find inspiration in art from a small doodle drawn by a toddler to an immaculate art piece to a tattoo on fresh skin full of meaning and promise. And potential, potential is absolutely one of the most inspiring things to realize how much one can accomplish if they live up to their potential. To realize that since I brought this project online in April 2010 I’ve touched the lives of at least 2000 people, and those are just people who have tumblr accounts. To think of all the people that have found cards and never said anything, or the people who check my page but don’t have tumblr accounts. To have the potential and ability to bring smiles to all of those faces makes me awestruck. I can’t even believe the way this project has grown since the day it popped into my little head. I never thought I would be able to help people like this. I’m just a random 21 year old girl on the internet who loves every aspect of life and wants to be able to share that with others. Realizing that this project hasn’t even reached it’s full potential yet amazes me. I’ve been posting online since April, so not even a full year yet and everyday more people find me and start following me. Everyday I have the potential to effect more people, and everyday I leave more cards for people to find out in the world. I’m hoping I can continue to find bigger and better things to do through Cue Happiness so that I can continue to effect as many people as possible. I can only imagine the growth that could happen in this project over the next few years.

Does anyone have anything they’d like to see me pursue with this project, or any new ideas for me?

I love this. How can I get involved?

Ways to help out :
- expose Cue Happiness to as many people as you can, the more people see it the more faces I can put smiles on
- Do good in your own community
- Share stories with me about the things you do for others or in your community
- If you come across a great picture/song/ other project let me know about it so I can share it with my other followers
- let me know about your favourite charities
- Do little good deeds
- I’m always willing to do mail-outs, which would provide you with cards to spread around your community, just send your address to my formspring or tumblr ask box
- if you know someone tat you think could use a card just let me know and I’ll send some to them
- make a difference any way you can
- do everything you can to make someone smile each day
- Feel free to share any ideas you have to help make this project grow
